The Wolfhearted have led different paths, but all share one thing in common: they come from broken homes and shattered alliances. The Wolfhearted have proved themselves in combat time and time again, learning to live by the sword or die. Born of bloodshed and death, the Wolfhearted live by three facets of a fealty oath:

A Wolfhearted will never cower behind when he might lead

A Wolfhearted will never flee while he may yet fight

A Wolfhearted will never abandon his brothers on the field of war

A true Wolfhearted must prove his worth to move within the ranks of this Norse unit. Only Viking, other suitably Norse personas, or warriors who may feasibly explain their membership in their backstory, despite a non-Norse persona will be accepted. When a new recruit joins us he will be given the rank of Thrall, until he may pass a fighting and weaponcrafting test to move to the rank of Karl (freeman). Only true warriors who have distinguished themselves in battle will be known by the rank of Wolfhearted.
